북한 관광 - 은둔의 국가서 새로운 관광지로

Independent, spontaneous travel around the country is not allowed. All tours follow a set itinerary that has been prepared and planned in advance by KITC.

Contrary to what you may have heard, pretty much anyone can visit the DPRK as a tourist. At the present time, only the following categories of people are NOT permitted:

South Korean nationals;

Foreign nationals who are living in South Korea;

Professional journalists, photographers, broadcasters and the like (feel free to contact us for clarification on this);

N.B. American tourists ARE permitted to visit the DPRK however they can only enter or exit the country by plane (not train).

위 안내 글에 따르면, 북한관광은 남한에서 거주 중인 사람들은 불가능하며, 개인과 단체 모두 정해진 일정을 벗어나서 개인적인 관광은 불가능하다.
